    Miamis greatest Turkey Day tradition is back on Thanksgiving morning, November 23. The Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida Turkey Trot 5K/10K presented by Miami-Dade Parks will take place at Tropical Park at 7:30 AM. CLICK HERE to register now or visit www.runmiami.com. Last year, close to 1,400 runners and walkers came out for the 5K and 10K race to kick-off the long weekend of running/walking, eating, shopping, and football! Register early to guarantee your Turkey Trot shirt and a place in one of the biggest park races in South Florida. The race will be capped at 1,500 participants for the 5K and 10K combined, so register early.
    Nike Run Hit Remix 3 Mile and 5 Mile Training Runs Every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday

    South Florida is going to be treated to one of the coolest races in history to hit the streets, the Nike Run Hit Remix, on South Beach the evening of December 14. A 5 miler at night held on the streets and sand of Miami Beach, this race will include big name musicians at every mile, including Vanilla Ice, Coolio, Young MC, Digital Underground and De La Soul, entertaining more than 3,000 runners and walkers as they go by.

    To help everyone get pumped for the big race, Nike is inviting everyone to take part in fun and free training runs where you can get free tech shirts, try out Nike shoes as you train and learn about the Nike Plus technology that fuses music with running. Additionally, if you go to enough training runs and punch your Frequent Runner Card, you will have an opportunity to gain entry into the Nike Run Hit Remix Lounge on race day, getting limited access to the post race concert. Refreshments, music, shoes, and fun will be on hand at each training run.Check out the cool things planned for the Nike Run Hit Remix this December.
