RUN MIAMI - News on the Run: Thanksgiving Day is Coming, GOBBLE, GOBBLE! October 23, 2006 The weekend of October 15 was perfect for South Florida participants as our first cold front came through and 800 dedicated athletes competed in the Publix Escape to Miami Triathlon, one of the toughest races on the East Coast. Congrats to all the finishers who made the challenging swim from Escape Island and finished the race. Now, it's time to focus on running season as South Florida's favorite 5K and 10K approaches on Thanksgiving Morning.
